I graduated with honours from their 2200hr program at ICT Northumberland Massage Therapy College located in Halifax, NS. I graduated from Acadia University's Bachelor of Kinesiology program in 2000. I am always searching to continue my education and so far I have taken Myofascial, Sports Massage, Hot Stone, Upledger Institute's CranioSacral and John Barnes Fascial-Pelvis courses.
My treatments are based treating the clients' original dysfunction and providing the treatment that makes the client happy. I try to examine the whole body to find the main areas causing dysfunction and pain. The treatment consists of Swedish Massage, Myofascial Techniques, Muscle Energy Techniques, Range of Motion, Gentle Joint Mobilization, and Stretching. You will also be given home exercises that are very important to help you get better.
I have experience treating many concerns including:
I was born in Toronto and moved to Lunenburg County (New Elm) in 1989. I have traveled to England, Australia and Japan when I was not at school. My clinic is a home-based clinic with a cozy treatment room, a waiting room, and a bathroom.
